Yesterday my attendant Sherri called in sick. So my friend Trista came over and we watched a few movies together.
First up The Departed! All I can really say about this movies is Awesome!!! It keeps you on the edge of your seat through the whole thing, with some twists and turns at the end you never saw coming! Definitely Oscar Worthy! A must see in my humble opinion!!
Next up was Babel, This one I must admit was very intriguing to me! Without giving to much away for those of you who haven't yet had the opportunity to see it, this movie centers around how one simple act can change and or affect the lives of four different families in four different countries! It was very eye opening! Might not be for everyone, but if you like movies that send a message and make you think and can provoke a discussion when it's over? This might be one to check out!
Trista and I ended the evening by receiving an invitation from some friends to go to the movies to see Wild Hogs! Now if you are just looking to get away from it all and forget all your troubles, aches and pains and just laugh until you are ready to pee your pants this movies for you! Great!!!!

Yeah it was a pretty cool day. Babel isn't for everyone. Have you given any thought to my movie invitation for you and Denise for Permonition on the 16th?
Well my favorite was Wild Hogs wait no Departed no Wild Hogs????? Although Babel was mind bending with the truth The Departed was on the edge of your seat, jumping up shocking DRAMA! I don't know if it was the order we watched the but if did feel good to see a gut bustng comedy by the end of the night. What a lovely night! Thank you for sharing you evening with me!
Because of your great day and your review I ordered Babel and Departed. We just joined Netflix because I am so tired of nothing good being on TV. I sure hope it works. We went to see Breech today. It was good. A few good laughs in a serious movie. Hope you are feeling better Cheri
Anytime Tris you know that. It was a great evening and a great moive. I think we did the movies in the perfect order! An edge of your seat drama, Followed by a true mind bending intrigue,topped off by a bust your guts laughing comedy! Who could ask for anything more? Thank you for spending your day off with me!! It meant a lot!! Love your guts!!!

Well we watched Departed. Very few words were said that were not the big four letter word. It could have been a good movie except for that. Jack looked like a wild man in it.
