The True meaning of Valentine's Day !

As you know today is of course Valentine's Day. There are those who are of
the assumption that today is exculsively reserved for those that are in or maybe seeking romantic relationships. I however must respectfully disagree. I'm not saying that the romantic aspect of this holiday doesn't have it's rightful place, because of course it does and should. I've just always
believed that Valentine's Day has a much larger scope. That it is a day in which we should take the time to pay tribute to all the forms of love we may
have in our lives. Not just the love between a husbands and wives or boyfriends and girlfriends. But also the love that is shared between friends. The love that is shared between a parent and child or grandchild. for me Valentine's Day is a day to celebrate love in all of it's forms. A day to let anyone who has an impact in your life or meant anything to you. Just how important they are to you! So my only request of you is to take minute out of your day today to tell all those in your life how special they are! For that is the True Meaning of Valentine's Day!

I agree with you Cheri. Today I helped Brooke make a card for there neighbor who plowed there driveway. She has never talked to him but she wanted to write I love you on the card. I asked her why. She said cause he didn't have to and now mom and dad can get out! So sweet and loving our those of a childs words.

I knew you could do it, girl. A very nice piece. Not one the Hallmark stores would like because their cards are for the lovers. But I agree with you also. And it it surprising how many of my friends either sent me an email or called and said "Happy Valentine's Day", even you. So "Happy Valentine Day" a day late. Hey we were born in the same month. xoxo
