I've been a little under the weather lately!

For those of you wondering where I've been lately? I've been having servere pain in my neck and right shoulder for the last few days. I'm touched that you were all concerned about where I've been! I love you all!

Will Eve be able to figure it all out in time to save the love of her life? I have to admit that there hasn't really ever been a book series that has captured my interest like the Eve Dallas Mysteries has. For those of you that have read them you know what I mean. For those that haven't I encourage you to give them a try I believe you'll really enjoy them! I was wondering what book might be capturing your interest lately?

Movies and Memories!

Those that know me are well aware of the fact that I am a huge! fan of the Star Wars movies all of them! This morning I happpened to be watching The Empire Strikes Back. As I was watching I started to recall on of my fondest momories I have as a child of the very first time I had seen it. It was in fact just a few months after we had moved here from California. I was celebrating my 9th birthday, my parents had planned this big party for me complete with presents, a big ballerina cake the hole bit! But all I had really wanted for my birthday was to go see The Empire Strikes Back in the theater! I can remember all during my party I was hoping that things would finish up early enough so we would be able to make the last afternoon showing, because I was covinced that if we didn't make the afternoon showing I would be doomed do to the fact that my dad didn't like going in the evening he felt it was to crowded then. So it's getting later and later and the party is still going on. I start to get really depressed because I figured my chances are pretty much shot! My dad came over to me after the party was over and asked me what was wrong! Of course I said it was nothing because I didn't want him or my mom to think that I hadn't appreciated their efforts. It was then he said oh by the way we have one more present for you! I'm sure you've figured out by now what that last present turned out to be? Dinner and an evening showing of The Empire Strikes Back! That night turned out to be one of my happiest memories! I think about that night every time I see it! So that got me thinking if anyone else had a movie that might evoke a fond memory? Just curious?
Oh and for my fellow Star Wars Trilogy buffs! Which Star Wars movie is your favorite?

The True meaning of Valentine's Day !

As you know today is of course Valentine's Day. There are those who are of
the assumption that today is exculsively reserved for those that are in or maybe seeking romantic relationships. I however must respectfully disagree. I'm not saying that the romantic aspect of this holiday doesn't have it's rightful place, because of course it does and should. I've just always
believed that Valentine's Day has a much larger scope. That it is a day in which we should take the time to pay tribute to all the forms of love we may
have in our lives. Not just the love between a husbands and wives or boyfriends and girlfriends. But also the love that is shared between friends. The love that is shared between a parent and child or grandchild. for me Valentine's Day is a day to celebrate love in all of it's forms. A day to let anyone who has an impact in your life or meant anything to you. Just how important they are to you! So my only request of you is to take minute out of your day today to tell all those in your life how special they are! For that is the True Meaning of Valentine's Day!

Just a simple hello

After much though and consideration, as well as some encouragement from friends. I've decided to start a blog of my own. Just a place for me to say what's on my mind from time to time.
